Finally! It felt like Fall today, and the girls and I headed out to Cheekwood Botanical Garden in Nashville to walk around and have a look at the gorgeous Chihuly glass exhibition on the grounds until October 31.
Emma and Aidan were disappointed that the glass sculptures in the ponds prevented them from being able to play in the water like they usually do. The general atmosphere was a bit more stiff than we are used to experiencing at Cheekwood, where we generally run around and explore and plop down on the expansive lawns for a picnic or with a good book, but we adjusted and had a great time :)
Love the statues around the house at Cheekwood. This guy is one of a pair of lions that look old and weathered... and perfect!
